"Finally a real vet and one that actually is about the animal and not just the money! Thank you Canyon View you all made us feel comfortable, loved on my poodle baby and got to the issue! Please don’t ever change!!"
"Been taking our family pets here for years, and the team has always taken great care of us. Exceptional service!"
"Dr. Wayment and his staff are very kind. Dr. Wayment has helped us with our golden doodle that has several health issues. He's taken good care of both our dogs. He not only cares about your animals he cares about the clients as well. When our dog first started having seizures he helped educate us and make us feel more at ease about them. He's very patient and will answer any questions you have and gives you his honest opinion on treatment options which makes it easier to decide what to do."
"Dr Wayment & his staff were amazing! The office was clean, and the entire staff was so friendly. I highly recommend Dr Wayment, he was so kind and caring and he even checked in to see how our cat was doing days after we were in his office."
"The care my pet has recieved has been phenomenal. Not to mention the staff has been so kind to us in regards to my puppy's illness."

"Dr. Wayment has been so amazing in caring for our dogs, including one who was dying of cancer. He was very compassionate and supportive through the process, consulting on the phone regularly to help us know how to sustain her quality of life as well as we could and helping us know when it was time to let her go compassionately. He goes out of his way to see your pet in a timely manner whenever you have a concern. He genuinely seems to enjoy his job — you can see it in everything he does! His costs are reasonable as well. I have recommended him to anyone who will listen! Even my extended family has switched to taking their pets to his office!"
"I had a different vet that was closer to me. When my cat was ill, I took him to his vet and they told me I had to have an appointment for an established patient. Sadly, my little guy didn't make it and I refused to return to that vet. I was surprised and relieved when I read the reviews for this vet. Many said they worked their pet in and the appointments weren't scheduled too far out. I took my kitter here for a runny nose and they got me in the next day. My pet needed vaccinations and again they got me right in. Both times I have been to this clinic the staff has neen very nice. They seem to really care about the animals they treat. They ask if I have questions and answer them. I would highly recommend this clinic. The vets are nice to the animals as well as the owners. You don't have to wait, the prices are reasonable. Even the neuter procedure is cheaper than the first vet I went to. If you're looking forward quality vet, this clinic is the place."
"Loved coming here! The staff is so friendly and understanding. They helped our cat’s UTI and were so sweet to him and our family. The veterinarian answered all our questions and we didn’t feel rushed at all. We highly recommend here!"
"So so SO nice to me and my kitten! Always a good experience here! All the techs and doctors are so kind and always helpful! Such a good atmosphere."
"Wonderful veterinary clinic! The staff was kind, caring, and professional, and they treated my pets with so much compassion. I felt heard and confident that my cats are in good hands. Highly recommend!"

"I can't say enough good things about this veterinary clinic. From the moment we walked in, everyone made us feel welcome and genuinely cared about both us and our pet. The entire team was kind, professional, compassionate, and took the time to answer every question without ever making us feel rushed.
What stood out most was the overall level of care. You can tell that everyone here truly loves what they do and treats every animal as if it were their own. That level of compassion is hard to find, and it made all the difference.
This was one of the best experiences I've ever had with a veterinary clinic. I'm incredibly grateful for everything they did, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for a vet they can trust. Thank you for providing such exceptional care. Also Shauna is such a sweetheart."
"We’ve been going to canyon view cares for 6 years now - recently our dog had to have an emergency surgery out of state and even though they didn’t perform the surgery our vet has been more than happy to help answer all our post op questions and we are so thankful! Love this place."
"Dr. Wayment and Dr. Borders are the best! I’ve had Dr. Wayment take care of my cats for several years and he makes it so much easier and less stressful! He’s always positive and encouraging. He’s absolutely the best veterinarian!
And Dr. Borders is a very welcome addition to the Canyon View family! She’s wonderful!

"They have shown amazing care to every single one of my pets, as well as the pets of my friends and family. They even help a lot with helping pets pass on, and giving something to remember your pet by.
I have, multiple times, recommended this place, and I will continue to do so in the future"
"Dr Wayment has provided consistent professional care for our sweet pup. She’s 8 years-old and has struggled with chronic ear infections since we bought her. Dr. Wayment offered optimum care for quite a while until the day came that he recommended a dermatology vet. After two years this specialist is still trying to find the best treatment. Obviously, my dog’s health is complicated. So I am extremely grateful for these veterinarians who seem to have exceptional clinical skills. If this journey has taught me one thing, it’s that I have needed reliable vets! I would always recommend Dr. Wayment & his colleague, Dr. Amanda, for the best care. They both have a tender, kind touch that calms both dog & dog owner!"
"I am visiting Utah for the summer from California and had to get a dew claw fixed on my husky. After calling a few vets and getting some quotes Canyon View Care was by far the most affordable and upfront about what the potential costs could be. So I went to them. In the end it ended up being simpler then they first anticipated and the final cost was under $200 for everything which was half their initial quote and so much less then any other vet quoted me. Was really refreshing to be able to go to a new vet and not feel like I was taken advantage of. It’s obvious all the staff really cares about the animals here and you’ll always be taken care of. Even if you are a one time customer. If I lived her I would definitely make this my primary vet."
"Canyon View Cares is by far the best Vet I have ever been to! They are so thorough and genuine. 10/10 recommend!"
"Shauna took great care of my cat, everyone was very professional and caring. Definitely will be back if my cat ever needs anything else"
"The doctor who treated our kitten was very kind and attentive, he answered all our questions, gave us advice, and treated our cat wonderful!!"
"Everyone I have interacted with here has been amazing. Everyone is professional, personable, and kind. Dr. Wayment is the best! I can always trust that my dog is in the hands of people who truly care about her."
"When we first moved to Utah I went to CVC because it was the closest to home. Now 5 years and two moves later, I pass half a dozen veterinary offices to continue to bring my pets to CVC."
"I am so thankful for all of the staff at Canyon View Cares. They are always so kind, compassionate, and helpful. Dr. Wayment is a wonderful vet who genuinely cares about your pets. He squeezed my dog Rosie in on a Friday for a sore toenail that had gotten a foxtail embedded in it. Rosie is already feeling so much better.
Whether it is an emergency or general care, Dr. Wayment and the staff at Canyon View cares always do an exceptional job.
Sending a huge thank you to you all!"
"The clinic took our Chloe in on an "emergency" basis as we were traveling in an RV. The vet Dr. Miller and his staff were exemplary and made sure we were in and out in under an hour. Other clinics blew us off but Shauna made sure she found a place for us with them. The vet was extremely thorough and the staff was kind and compassionate. I only wish their office was closer to our home state of Alabama!!"
"If you are looking for an amazing, honest, and empathetic vet to take your dog, or any pet to, this is the place. It took me 7 years and 5 different vets before I found Dr Wayment and I will never go anywhere else again! He is genuinely the best. The staff is the best. I just couldn’t recommend this place enough!!"
"Dr Wayment is amazing and always supportive. I refer people to him because I trust the level of care he gives my animals and also the level of support he gives to me as a pet parent who really adores their dogs. He is always honest and up front about things and takes the time to answer my questions."
"We had a great experience! My dog got his annual vaccines and was tested for heartworm and other parasites. All my questions were answered well and the appointment was quick with no wait time."
"Taking our dogs and cat to Canyon View Cares is like visiting family. They are always friendly, on time and professional. Shelby and Dr. Wayment are awesome! Jack, my cat is quite grumpy, but they did his annual exam and shots so well that he didn't even twitch or make a sound! They patiently answered all my questions and gave well thought-out suggestions. I won't trust my pets with anyone else!"
"I moved here 2 yrs ago, and met Dr. Wayment. I had a pitbull that was not right (vets told me he was fine just needed mental stimulation). Within minutes of meeting my boy he confirmed I wasn't crazy and my boy was super ill . He helped me right away with getting a specialist . He made me feel so comfortable and kept answering all my questions, after my boys (brain cancer)diagnoses. He would check in on him .Dr Wayment really cares and goes the extra mile for his patients . My daughter now takes her dogs to him because he is so good . I wouldn't take my dogs to anyone else, Canyon View layton makes you feel like you matter and feel like you can trust them. Dr. Wayment is the best vet I have ever met. I have had dogs for over 20yrs and no vet I've had comes close to him. I would highly recommend Canyon View Cares in layton to anyone who is looking for a great vet."
