Meet Our Team

Hello! My name is Dr. Tyson Wayment. I attended Brigham Young Universitywhere I obtained my undergraduate degree in Wildlife and Wildlands Conservation. I also served a church-service mission where I became fluent in Spanish, which has definitely been useful in my job. I then attended the Washington State University/Utah State University program where I received my DVM in 2021. Upon graduation I took a job here, at Canyon View Cares, and have been working here ever since.

I work as a mixed-animal veterinarian and love the variety of my job. My wife and I love being back in Utah and have enjoyed being back close to the mountains, as most of our hobbies involve being outside. We enjoy hiking, camping, hunting, fishing and anything that will take us outdoors. If you don’t find us up in the mountains we are likely helping out on my family farm growing crops and working cattle. We have one dog, 3 cats, a handful of cattle and 2 horses that we take anytime we go on our pack trips.

Our dog’s name is Quill, and he is basically my shadow at this point. He was meant to be my hunting buddy but has since developed a crazy fear of gunfire, which we are working through. But right now I am happy with taking him to work and having him by my side to assist in my silly adventures. As I said, I definitely love the variety of my job-seeing cows, goats, horses, dogs, cats and everything in between.

My wife always asks me what I want to be when I grow up; I keep telling her I haven’t decided and that’s why I continue to see and experience all I can! Maybe someday I’ll figure it out. Hopefully!

Zayli is a Veterinary Technician with a passion for patient care, particularly in surgery and anesthesia. She enjoys monitoring patients during recovery and ensuring they feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for after procedures.

Her love for animals started early, growing up around horses, and was further encouraged by her family. She began her veterinary career at Canyon View Cares and continues to build her experience, with plans to further her education in the future.

Zayli has a strong interest in understanding the “why” behind medical conditions and enjoys being part of the process that helps patients heal. Outside of work, she enjoys reading, hiking, and playing pickleball and chess. She has a playful dog named Chompers and a shy cat named Dublin.

Karlee is a veterinary technician with a Bachelor’s degree in Zoology and a minor in Chemistry as part of her pre-veterinary studies. She joined the veterinary field to gain experience before applying to veterinary school and quickly discovered her passion for the profession.

Karlee enjoys the fast-paced environment of mixed animal practice and has a special interest in surgery and emergency medicine. Outside of work, she enjoys hiking, golfing, and traveling with her 6-year-old Aussie mix, Jax, along with her two cats, Rip and Beth.

Ashley is a Customer Service Representative and Social Media Manager who joined veterinary medicine in 2019 after fostering a litter of kittens inspired her passion for animal care. She loves building genuine relationships with clients and pets while also bringing creativity to the clinic’s social media presence.

Ashley has a special interest in feline care and enjoys supporting a feline-friendly approach to veterinary medicine. Outside of work, she enjoys painting, building Legos, and designing projects for her cats, Annabelle, Bowie, and Theodore.

Suzzi is a Customer Service Representative who brings a genuine love for both people and animals to her role. With a background in cosmetology and nearly two decades of experience working at a pet store, she developed a deep appreciation for the bond between pets and their owners.

At the clinic, Suzzi enjoys getting to know clients and their pets, helping schedule appointments, answering questions, and making each visit feel comfortable and welcoming. She values listening and being a supportive resource for pet owners.

Outside of work, Suzzi enjoys kayaking, going on walks, listening to podcasts, reading, and spending time with her family. She shares her home with her beloved rescue pets, who keep life fun and are very spoiled.

Addi is a Customer Service Representative who loves connecting with clients and welcoming all the furry faces that come through the clinic doors. She brings strong communication and organizational skills to her role, along with a growing knowledge of veterinary care.

She was introduced to veterinary medicine through a close friend in the field and quickly found a passion for the work. Addi enjoys helping create a smooth and positive experience for both pets and their owners.

Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family, going on walks with her baby and boyfriend, and cooking—especially BBQ. She has two pets: a Chihuahua-Corgi mix and a Black Labrador.
