Great staff, reasonable prices! I've taken several dogs there and I'm always grateful for thorough care and not getting a huge bill after. Highly recommend this office to anyone with animals.

I love this vet office. When we moved to Layton we suddenly needed a local vet for an unexpected injury one of my dog endured. They saw him immediately, gave him stitches and a cone, and gave us a detailed care plan for his healing. A year later, when my senior dog developed a tumor, they gave us advise on the phone, connected us with a local emergency vet when they had no appointments, and were so gentle giving him an ultrasound when they could see him. And the appointments here cost 1/3 of what previous vets have charged me for lesser visits. Even now that we do not live in Layton, we will be traveling to go to this vet. 10/10 would recommend.
5 stars seems too low!! I am a first time pup owner and felt a little lost. Dr Wayment spent so much time answering all my questions, and was so thorough and personable. It is clear that he and his staff truly care about the animals they see. I felt like me and my puppy mattered and it made the biggest difference to me!! Lebron (yes…my cavalier spaniel is named Lebron James..) just finished his puppy shots and we both couldn’t love Dr Wayment and his staff more!! I can’t recommend this clinic enough!! We are patients for life! Thank you Canyon View Cares!!
Dr. Wayment and his staff are absolutely fabulous!!! We take both our dogs, Dash and Sophie, to them and they treat them like their own. Sophie just had some stomach issues and they were able to accommodate and get us in quickly. I cannot say enough great things about all of them and am so grateful that we have such an amazing and caring vet here in Layton.
Canyon View is our favorite place to take our fur babies. They have always taken good care of them, and for a reasonable price. One of our fur babies had cut herself on the chain link fence, we were quoted min of $800 plus to put in a tube and stitch it up at other vets. Canyon View did it for half that (possibly less) and took good care of our little baby. We have taken all of our pets here and have had exceptional service every single time. They make sure to comfort your pets as well as the owner. We had to put one of our fur babies down a couple years ago, and this team was nothing but respectful and sympathetic. They sent us a card in the mail with his pawprint and his nose print along with wildflower seeds to plant to help remind us of him. They were so caring throughout the whole thing and expressed their condolences. They really do treat your fur babies like their own. Best vet we have been to. I took my dog and because it would not stop scratching. They prescribed a new type of medication for my dog named Ricky a chocolate. they say it works for 3 to 6 months. Depending on the dog, this is a great place. We've had good experiences with them. We own 3 dogs. Also we Own a boarding facility named titans pet care. This is where Were we recommend are clients to take their dogs also.

Had a great experience at this vet. They took us right back into a private room where we only waited a few minutes to be seen. We got a fox tail pulled out of our dog's paw successfully. They sent us home with clear instructions on how to care for the paw and a cone. Very happy with our experience. We will return in the future. Super nice staff all around.
We have had great experiences with Dr Wayment! Between our two dogs, we ended up in their office 3 or 4 times in a couple of weeks. Their whole team was kind and efficient, and Dr Wayment was so helpful. Easy to recommend him!
Dr Wayment and the Layton team are truly fantastic. Our little mama dog was in labor, having complications, and suddenly started declining. We took her in, Dr W did a quick eval, and within minutes mama was in for a c-section. The team was on it and engaged. Mom and baby are strong and healthy. So much thorough care, professionalism, and compassion. I’d bring my human kids here. Top notch shop.
